I have had the joy and honor of teaching piano and music theory for over 13 years. I enjoy the process of seeing how fast my students grow, from their first class, to finding excitement and joy through a piece of music — whether it is Bach, Beethoven, Thelonious Monk or Beyoncé. I hold a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from Prins Claus Conservatorium, and a Bachelors degree in Piano from Conservatorio Manuel de Falla, Argentina. My students range in age from 3 years old to adults, and my lessons are fully personalized according to the students’ needs, desires and objectives. I have experience working with students with disabilities, students who are learning by ear in order to play the piano at church, students preparing for the ABRSM or NYSSMA exams, students preparing to audition for a job as a pianist on cruise ships, and many first-time piano students who are excited to learn and enjoy the beauty of music. I teach Classical Music, Jazz/Blues/Gospel/Soul, and Pop/Rock. I teach both by ear and by learning to read music. I offer lessons in a variety of settings, for the convenience of the students. Options include: 1- My studio in Prospect Lefferts Garden 2- Student’s home 3- Skype/Facetime/Zoom/WeChat As a pianist I have had the privilege to perform with many distinguished jazz players, including Michael Moore (#1 Clarinetist, Downbeat, 2000-2002), Matt Wilson (Musician of the year and record of the year, 2018, JAZZ JOURNALISTS ASSOCIATION), Gene Jackson (Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Wayne Shorter) and singer, author, educator and composer Michele Weir. I’ve also worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Holland America Line, and Cunard Line playing all kind of music (Classical music, jazz, Broadway, pop, motown, etc).
